Adopters
If you’ve adopted from AFH, you are welcome! We’d love to see you and get to know how your furry family member is getting along!
Volunteers
Without you, the rescue would not exist! Please come out and spend an afternoon with like-minded folks, meet up with the families who adopted a dog you fostered or worked with at an adoption event!
Supporters
You know who you are! You’re the backbone of the organization. You enable us to provide the top-notch medical care to the dogs in our care. Your contributions provide for the premium quality food we feed our charges. Without your support, we would not be able to do anywhere near as much as we do! Thanks for your support. Come out and see first hand what it means to the dogs and the families whose lives you’ve touched.
Dog Lovers
What? You’ve never interacted with AFH? Well, you’re in for a treat! This is the perfect opportunity to learn more about our organization or simply enjoy some time with fellow dog lovers. Who doesn’t need an occasional puppy fix?
Dog Play Area
Bring your dog & people friendly dogs to cavort in a dog play area! Most dogs enjoy the chance to sniff, run, and play. This is a chance for them to “let their hair down” and have a great time!
Raffle Baskets & 50/50
We’re going to have some baskets available for raffle (we’ll let you know what they contain as we get closer to the event date!) and a 50/50 raffle. If you’re not familiar with a 50/50 raffle, we sell raffle tickets and the winner splits the pot (the total of all 50/50 raffle sales) with the rescue. If we sell $500 worth of tickets, the winner gets $250, the rescue gets $250. If we sell $5,000, it’s split $2,500 & $2,500. The more we sell, the more the winner gets!
