August Pet Photos by Jeanne Taylor
Jeanne Taylor, Pet Photographer, will be getting back to Northern Virginia for sessions at the end of August. For those that do not know her, take a peek at her http://www.jtpetpics.com/monthpet.htm link. She has taken pictures of all of my babies over the years and chooses the best settings. She is an incredible photographer and a supporter of AFH –she did a virtual fundraiser for us when COVID hit. She also donates a portion of her proceeds to our doggies if you mention you heard of her through our rescue.
If you are wanting to have your pet photo’d during that time, please reach out by August 5th, as that’s when she will close down the trip schedule. If you have any questions, contact her at jt2design@aol.com

The Love of Forever!
July Fourth Transport
What a week. We brought in nearly 40 dogs this week. Mom’s and pups, orphaned adults, a dog that had been hit by a car, stray dogs, abandoned pups….All in a normal week’s work at the rescue! We are grateful to all our volunteers who foster, transport and coordinate and our indispensable donors who all help make this possible!
Thank You Community Foundation of Northern VA
A Forever Home Rescue Foundation, Inc is pleased to announce we received a generous grant of $2,500 from the Community Foundation of Northern Virginia/XMS Donor Advised Fund. This grant will go a long way in helping us to continue our critical work to find loving, forever homes for dogs and pups in need. In particular, it will help us provide support to rural communities where rescuers struggle to help save these helpless animals from abandonment, neglect, and abuse; and assist families who can no longer care for their pets for a variety of reasons. We are grateful to the Community Foundation of Northern Virginia for their support of our rescue efforts for more than a decade.
Thank You Jeanne Taylor Photography!
When the COVID lockdown hit, Jeanne Taylor Photography came up with a wonderful idea to raise funds for rescue dogs while we were all under “house arrest.” Her virtual illustrations fundraiser brought in nearly $600 for our rescue. Thank you for all your support over the years Jeanne!

Please Help
Please help! We recently brought a large number of puppies into the rescue. Shortly after their arrival, some of them started showing symptoms of canine parvovirus (parvo) infection. We now need your support: https://mailchi.mp/aforeverhome/parvovirus-outbreak
