A Forever Home Rescue Foundation is hosting our second summer gala! No Place Like Home: The Ruby Slipper Gala will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2017, at the Ritz-Carlton Tysons Corner in McLean, VA. You’re invited to walk down the yellow brick road with us! Don’t mind the Wicked Witch of the West – browse our variety of silent and live auction items, enjoy themed food and beverage, dine in the field of the poppies, and end your evening amongst our great supporters in the Emerald City.
Proceeds from this year’s gala will help fund AFH’s future forever home, the Imagine Sanctuary – a facility where AFH can keep rescue animals, as well as provide educational, wellness, and personal growth opportunities. A Memory Garden where people can memorialize their beloved pets will be just one addition to the planned resources such as a boarding facility, retail store, bed and breakfast, and conference facilities where corporations, organizations, and educational institutions can host seminars and events.
