His vet records from the rescue have him listed as “American Bulldog mix” but after spending time with him, it’s obvious he is a bonafide “everything mix”. One look into his soulful mocha eyes, you'll understand why everyone who meets him at our house or on the hiking trails - is instantly charmed. With his big, adorable block head, warm energy and dignified way of crossing his front paws, he's the picture of canine grace and civility. Why Howie is Special--The Perfect Gentleman: Howie is 100% house-trained, crate-trained (though he's so well-behaved we don't even need to crate him), and has impeccable manners. He's never destructive, doesn't chew inappropriately, and barks only when appropriate to alert his family. Perfectly Balanced Energy: This is a dog who loves his leash walks and outdoor adventures but doesn't demand constant entertainment. He's equally happy going on a hiking adventure or curling up on the couch for movie night. His chill and eager to please energy level makes him adaptable to various lifestyles.
