Joy

AFH rescued Joy from a shelter in a rural area when animal control picked Joy as a stray. Since coming to AFH Joy has shown that she loves to learn and she is a fast learner. She warmed right up when arriving. She will gladly run up to meet you and give lots of love. She has learned how to walk on a leash a little bit but we are still working on it and she is quickly learning the sit and come commands. We are still working on house training. She is seeming to take to crate training well as she has slept between 4-7 hours without any accidents. She is still a young puppy so we are working on her manners, but she seems to be redirected really well. Joy is a sweet dog who seems to love everyone she has met so far: adults, children ranging from 5-12, other dogs of all ages, and cats.  She loves to run around in a fenced yard with other dogs or simply play with her toys in her play pen. With being a young puppy she has a lot of energy and loves to get it out whether it’s with zoomies or playing with her dog pals. After a long play session she likes to cuddle up and take a nap and then is ready for more play! Joy will fit into almost any household!
