Queenie
Queenie, no doubt, was a Queen in her former life. She is very relaxed, except when she spots a squirrel or a cat moves right in front of her. That’s when her hound dog gets the best of her. Not to worry, because when she is on a leash, you can distract her from whatever has caught her attention. Sorry, we don’t have her lineage, but we think that she may have some Pointer in her family tree. We also don’t have a history other than she came from a shelter in Southern Virginia. She is housebroken. She is also crate trained and does not cry or bark when she is in there; however, she is not ready to go in there on her own just yet. She has really come out of her shell. She now wags her tail and plays with the many squeaky toys she has found in the toy basket. When she’s done playing, she will lie down and fall asleep nearby wherever you settle. She has done well with the resident Chihuahua/Doxie. We know Queenie will make herself right at home once she finds her forever family.
