M Pup Margo
Margo was born around 3/17/22. She is a pretty Labrador Retriever who, along with 2 siblings, was dumped at the home of an elderly woman in rural Mississippi and then rescued. Marge’s coat is white with traces of tan on her ears, back and tail. She is a combination of happy and gentle love bug thriving on belly and face rubs --an affectionate and friendly pup who likes everyone—and a curious, alert, active, and strong girl. She bonds quickly. She likes and plays energetically with her toys (See video). She appears to be a fast learner; for example, upon being fostered, within 2 hours she learned to go up and down stairs and walk without pulling on her leash—impressive as stairs, collar and leash were all new to her. We are working on basic commands and crate training. She seems to like and want to play with other dogs. No information on how she would react to cats. She tends to jump up when excited; until that behavior is corrected, a family with a small child might need to be watchful. That aside, Margo would be a great addition to and is ready to meet and join her forever family.
