From Ruger the dog: Hey, my awesomeness is right here, waiting for you to give me a safe and wonderful FOREVER home! My foster mom has said that I am nearly perfect in every way. For starters, I love walks, am pretty good on a leash, and get along well with every friendly dog I meet! I am very patient with food that is given to me and I am very gentle. I have never had an accident in the house. I am crate trained but please do not leave me in there all day as I like to get fresh air, play fetch, and go out and see things. The only part where I need your patience is learning how to use stairs (I still don’t have the confidence yet), and getting used to new people (I’m shy at first but I promise that I do warm up). I love to be pet everywhere and you’ll be my favorite person in the world if you give me a doggy massage around the ears and neck. If you make a lifetime commitment to me, I promise that I will make a lifetime commitment to love you forever.
