Ealy Road Cisco
Male (Altered) — Date of Birth: 03/12/2021 (4 years old (Adult))
Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler Mix
These boys were found walking along a country road in Mississippi and rescued by local animal control. Sadly, no one ever came looking for them. These two boys are adorable! When they came to us from a transport on July 17th they were terrified and cowered on the tarmac with tails tucked between their legs. However, these sweet boys are now trusting pups who love affection and have lots of love to give. It took them about 48 hours to discover the joys of a safe place to sleep and a backyard to play in! Now, they happily race and wrestle with each other, chase after tennis balls, and want nothing more than to be petted, held, and loved. As big as these boys are, they really aspire to be large lap dogs! Ragu and Cisco are Australian Cattle Dog mixes. Ragu is the larger pup is bigger boned, and has a smooth, yellow coat with a hint of copper. He sucks you into his gaze with deep, soulful, brown eyes. Ragu doesn’t have as much of the Cattle Dog look as Cisco and is a hearty eater. You may even want to call him a “Labra-heeler.” Cisco looks more like a Cattle Dog, is smaller, and has more of a coarse coat (it feels more like a German Shepherd-type coat). Cisco’s claim to fame is that he will actually bring a thrown ball back to you and place it in your hand (not bad for a pup)! Cisco would rather receive affection than eat his lunch. They are well on their way to being house trained and crate-trained. They are both very athletic so if you are an outdoor person, jogger, hiker, one of these boys might just be your perfect companion!
