Don't let his serious name fool you -- this sweet boy is a total love bug! Patton has all of the best hound traits: a people-pleaser, indifferent to or maybe a tad amused by the high-strung yapping pup next door, and a lazy streak that leads him to sprawl out on the front porch and just watch the bees buzz by. Patton's nose is curious and he will walk for blocks with it pressed to the pavement, occasionally looking up for squirrels and your approval. He is looking for a home without small animals or cats. He was super chill when we took him to an outdoor pub, flashing those big brown eyes in the hopes of a snack, but perfectly mannered and so cute the server even wanted to take him home. Patton has quickly adapted to the leash and he is mastering house training. He is a great companion for my school-aged sons and he calms and curls up quickly in the evening when we dim the lights for bedtime, snuggling into his dog bed (or mine!) and falling asleep until the alarm goes off. He is going to make a loving addition to his forever family!
