Holly's Jordy/Sky

Sky is a sweet and friendly Shepherd mix that is ready to find her forever home! She is a little shy and slow to warm up to new people, but if you’re patient and let her take her time then she’s happy to play. She still has her puppy-like energy when she really just wants to play but has gotten better about being able to wind down and rest. She loves her long walks in the sun and being able to see neighbors and other dogs. She does well on a leash, knowing not to tug, but does require some patience when she finds something really interesting to sniff. She knows her commands—sit, come, stay, shake, down. She’s currently working on ‘drop it’ and ‘off’ but she’ll get the hang of it. She’s also crate and house trained. Sky is expressive and loyal as well, though she’s not always the most cuddly, accepting scratches and rubs from time to time. She shows her affection by being your shadow: she likes to follow and be near constantly. She’s the perfect companion to sit right next to you (if not on you) with a toy after a long day.
