Chief is an affectionate, friendly, energetic pup who was rescued from a shelter in North Carolina. He's almost fully grown at around 56 pounds, and gets along well with other dogs. He loves his foster's three kids and their hugs, and he never nips. Chief has learned to sit very reliably and not jump up excitedly or counter surf. He is almost 100% housetrained now and is getting better every day at not pulling on his leash, too. He is a smart guy and is enjoying learning to play fetch. He loves to be near his people. He has such silky soft fur and is so sweet that his foster family wants to pet him all the time, which makes Chief very happy. Chief deserves a wonderful forever home!
