C Pup Clara/Hazel
Clara, now named Hazel, was returned because there is a new baby in the family and the adopter did not feel that they could give her the time she needs since the baby is the primary focus of their attention now. Hazel first came to A Forever Home as an unwanted pup who was turned over to our rescue partner in Mississippi. Hazel is a sweet energetic girl. She loves to explore outside and would enjoy a yard and/or lots of long walks. She likes to play and would enjoy a canine sibling who also likes to play. Fetch with her orange ball is a favorite activity - second only to belly rubs. We haven’t seen her swim, but she does like to splash around in the creek. Hazel is house trained and crate trained and already knows many commands. She does well on a leash but will pull hard when something piques her interest. When she first meets someone she needs time to feel comfortable and safe once she does she is ready to sit next to you for snuggle time.
