D Pup Delilah

Delilah is a highly active puppy. We believe she may have some type of herding breed in her mix, possibly Australian Shepherd. She was adopted out and returned because she was resource guarding the mom in the family, trying to keep others away by nipping at them; therefore, she cannot be adopted out to a family with children. Delilah is a smart girl and learns quickly. She will do best when the rules and expectations are made clear to her from the moment she first enters her new home. She is extremely loyal and will quickly attach herself to the people she views as her family. It is important that she bond with each person in the household. Delilah is crate trained and housebroken. She enjoys riding in the car and gets along well with known dogs. This girl is active, athletic, and intelligent. She will make an excellent companion for someone who enjoys running, hiking or long walks. It is imperative that she receives quality training on a regular basis to tire her out mentally.
