Rosie (Rosemarie)

The best way to describe Rosie is “Classic Introvert.” She is quiet, gentle, sweet, cautious, and very low-maintenance….the sort of dog who would rather sit at your feet while you read a book than go on a play date at the dog park. She withdraws into her world and crate when there is too much stimulation and chaos going on. She has been with us for two weeks, since November 18th, and has barked (one bark!) only once. She gets along with other dogs and kids who are polite and respectful of her boundaries; when they are not, she backs away. She has shown absolutely no signs of aggression and is very content to stay in her crate when the grand-kids go crazy. Rosie’s time was up at a “high kill” shelter, so one of our rescue partners pulled her because she was completely overlooked at the shelter. We are enjoying her quiet gentle sweetness. She appreciates any kindness offered her, but doesn’t demand it.
