Mitchell

Mitchell is an absolutely adorable and handsome Shepherd mix (14 pounds at 14 weeks).  It appears he will be a medium-sized dog when fully grown.  He is sweet and gentle and very playful, highly alert and curious.  He loves everyone he meets and would be good with kids. He does normal puppy mouthing but corrects easily.  He wants to be close to his family and bonds quickly. When not in his crate, he likes to lie on his favorite flannel sheet. Mitchell is very quickly learning to do all his business outside; he gets to go out every 2-3 hours during the day to reinforce the learning and should be house broken quickly.  He is smart and learning the commands such as NO and SIT.  Initially Mitchell did not like having a bath but once he got a good rubbing he seemed to enjoy it.  He walks on a leash and would love a family that like to run with him.  He is interested in other dogs and backs off if they are not interested in him, but we have no experience with Mitchell and cats. He is playful and loves playing with his toys and getting rub downs and belly rubs. He is learning to sleep in his crate and sleeps quietly through the night once he settles down.
