Clarence

Clarence and his sisters were kept in horrible conditions and finally surrendered to an extremely high kill shelter. Thankfully they were pulled by rescue.

A note from Clarence’s foster...Clarence is amazing! When we first got him he was scared and timid but still sweet. Over the next few days his personality came out more and more and we fell in love. He’s totally crate trained and a perfect gentleman when he’s in the house. He LOVES dog beds and will happily lay in one as long as you’ll let him. When he’s outside he’s playful and happy and almost bounces around the yard. He tries to get our dogs to play with him, which they’ll sometimes do, but when they’ve had enough of his puppy kisses he flops onto his back, totally submitting. He loves affection but isn’t pushy about it. He gently approaches us hoping to be pet, and if we stop he will either move a bit closer or gently put his paw on our legs asking for more. It melts our hearts! Clarence will make a fantastic companion for someone. He’d be happy as an only dog, but would also love to have a playmate or two. We’d be willing to let  serious adopters come meet him at our house.
