Lovie

Hi my name is Lovie and I am a Lab/pit mix. Just as my name describes I am a big Lovie. I love all people and like to weasel my way onto their lap. I can sometimes throw my weight around so I probably would do best with a little older kids. My foster mom pretty much calls me a people dog, although I do get along with some dogs especially if introduced appropriately and could play for hours. However I don't do well with all dogs. I do currently live with an old 20 pound dog and 2 cats and I do well with them. I show general interest in the cats, but don't really chase and I leave the old dog alone as he is cranky and doesn't like to play. I can be a bit protective of my bones around other dogs, so my foster only gives me a bone when I don't have other animals around. I am house trained and crate trained. I walk fairly well on a leash, but still can throw my weight around on a walk. I am a smart girl but could be a bit stubborn and would do well with some basic training. I don't chew anything inappropriate although I may relocate things.
