Audrey is sweet and gentle, quiet and calm, she will sit quietly when you talk to her and pet her. Audrey arrived from Beaumont , TX on September 10th. It's clear that she didn't get much attention or exposure to the world, everything is new to her. She is mystified by things like stairs, bicycles, grocery carts, etc. but takes it all in stride. Audrey loves to play keep away with my dog! She is a medium-active dog and will be a great companion for someone who likes to go for walks or hikes. Audrey rides well in the car. She does very well with other dogs and loves kids. She gives them big wet kisses when she meets them. Audrey is working on her housebreaking, and is doing pretty good. She makes it through the night, and waits for me to take her outside before doing her business. She will continue to do well as long as she is kept on a schedule. Audrey would do well with an adopter who has the patience to work with her. She's a quick learner but she hasn't had any previous exposure to training or manners, so it's just going to take some time. She has not been around water, so I don't know if she will swim. But she likes to chase balls and sticks, so I suspect she will. Audrey doesn't react much to cats, but we haven't had a close introduction yet, so that's still unknown. Audrey is currently underweight, but her appetite is good, and she's filling out. She is going to be absolutely gorgeous!
