Poor Max has a sad story. He had been living happily with his family and another dog for 2 years. First, his doggy companion recently died. The family would adopt another dog to keep him company, but a child in the home recently developed life-threatening allergies. This means that Max had to find a new home (and obviously the family won't be rescuing another dog). The allergies are so severe that Max had to move out. On top of that, Max was recently diagnosed with cancer - a low grade T zone lymphoma. He is not showing any signs of pain or discomfort and does not need medication at this time. His current vet thinks he can easily live for 3 or more years without treatment. We are taking him to a specialist for another opinion. Max gets along with other dogs and kids. He's a total lovebug and thrives on attention. He is housetrained and just a sweet boy. Do you have room in your heart and your home for this sweet boy? Just look at that face!
