Look at those beautiful eyes! Simon says "Please give me a forever home, I'm waiting for you!" Simon is very sweet and energetic and is also very well behaved. He loves to run, run, run! But once he gets that extra energy out, he settles down and is pretty chill the rest of the day. Simon loves to chase birds and squirrels but doesn't seem to have any interest in toys or fetching. Because of this, he cannot be adopted to a home with cats. He also plays very nicely with other dogs; mostly he just tries to lure them into chasing him. He's a real cuddle-bug and will approach his human just for some petting and scratching, which is even better if he gets to lay in your lap! Simon was adopted out previously and was not treated very well by the family children. Therefore, he is very uncomfortable around children and cannot be adopted to a home with children under the age of 17. He would do best in a home that is calm and quiet. But he does love to run, and he is good on a leash, so he would be an excellent jogging or hiking partner. Simon is completely housebroken and rides very nicely in the car. And he goes into his crate willingly. One adorable thing about Simon - he snores!
