Louisiana Champ
Champ came to us after the severe flooding in Louisiana caused him to lose his home. He has an amazing temperament, perfectly suited to being a therapy dog for people AND other dogs! His calm disposition has worked wonders for my cautiously curious 3yr old dog. He was very patient and non-reactive towards her which allowed her to get used to him at her own speed. He is very laid back and loves people & attention. I do not have young children so I can't attest to how he is with little ones, but he likes the teens & tweens just fine and will stay next to anyone who is petting him! He is perfect for anyone who wishes to skip the puppy years and/or is looking for a 2nd dog. He is truly a pleasure to foster and will be a valuable addition to any family that has plenty of affection to give him.
Because he is undergoing treatment for heartworm, he can not be altered until he is cleared by the vet. For more information on his treatment, please e-mail [email protected]
