Toby is a great dog. He has the best personality and the friendliest disposition. He is very funny, goofy and affectionate. He even smiles (literally). He is very good with other dogs as he has lived with a pitbull his whole life, but has a strong prey drive because of his being a hunting dog breed. It would probably be best if he were not living with other small animals or cats. He is being given up by his family because Toby is very nervous around the new toddler in the family. He has never done anything to the child, but he seems uncomfortable around the toddler and will often get up and leave to avoid him or he will give a warning growl without showing teeth. He seems uncomfortable with the unpredictability of a toddler who sometimes falls on him or hits him accidentally with toys. He would be the perfect dog for an active family with either no children or school age children. He loves to be around people and be a part of the family.
