This little girl is 27 lbs of cuddles and kisses!  When Missy first arrived, she was shaking, shy, and had the saddest, most hopeless look in her pretty, dark eyes.  This sweetheart was abandoned with her 3 puppies and eventually ended up in a Kentucky Shelter, where she was very scared. Thankfully AFH rescued her and she shows her gratefulness everyday.  Now that Missy has realized she’s safe and loved, a whole new side of her has come out!  She’s always giving kisses, cuddling, or doing her adorable, full-body tail wag.  Missy is young and still acts like a goofy, floppy, little puppy, but still has the sweet, slow love of an older doggy.  While she can be energetic at times, she quickly calms down when she’s held and within a minute you’ll find you have a sleeping baby in your lap.  Missy loves long walks and does wonderfully on a leash, even when other dogs bark at her, she just keeps going like she doesn’t even notice them.  Missy is crate trained and stays in there at night and when left alone.  She is incredibly obedient and eager to please.  Now, when she knows it’s bedtime- she goes into her bed on her own- such a smart little girl!  Missy is working on being housebroken and has made incredible progress in a very short time- again she absolutely loves to please, which has made house breaking her very easy!  She’s great with my other dog and she’s very submissive.  Missy’s all time favorite activity is cuddling and she will curl up as close to you as possible, whenever you let her!  She also has some new toys and is learning how to play, which she loves!  Everyone who meets Missy, falls quickly in love!  If you think you have room in your home and your heart for this sweetheart, please let AFH know you’re interested in Missy!  If you’re interested in meeting her, you are welcome to come to our house and see her in her comfort zone.  Missy can’t wait to meet you and find her forever home!
