Muppets - Animal
Animal (Ann) is a beautiful girl. She is the only black one in the litter; her coloring reminds us of a Rottweiler. She is one of the bigger puppies, weighing in at just over 7 pounds. She is definitely a leader and very vocal about her needs. Ann loves to play with people and puppies. She was the first one to hustle out of her crate, out the door and up the stairs to the bathroom. She has yet to have an accident in her crate. Ann is a learner and will be fun to train. She would do well in an active home with experienced puppy owners who will keep her thinking and provide clear rules for her so she turns into the wonderful dog we know she will be.
The Muppets were dropped in a box at a shelter in WV. They are currently being socialized with many people and LOTS of children. Each day they are handled by nineteen of our schoolchildren who hold them, love them, talk to them and play with them. The puppies have all been bathed, brushed and had their nails trimmed. They spend a lot of time outside and are learning the grass is where they are supposed to use the bathroom. They are currently staying in crates in groups of two for down time and at night; by the time they are adopted we will have started crating them by themselves and having them eat out of individual food bowls to make the transition home easier. All of their crates are mostly dry in the mornings. We will put collars on them and begin to have them drag around leashes. These are wonderful puppies; please let us know if you would like to come out and see them at our home where you can interact with them and pick the perfect one for your family.
