Shetland Sheepdog Sheltie / Labrador Retriever Mix

Gem and her 8 pups was originally abandoned at water tower along with Cocoa Cabana before being picked up by animal control. Her pups are now safely in their own foster home (they were just weaned)....Then a call came that another litter of pups desparately needed help when their mother fell sick. As you can see, Gem is doing great nursing this new litter of 10 day old pups! Once they are weaned, she will be coming back to AFH to find a home of her own. We named her Gem because she is just a rare Gem for taking care of these babies as well as her own.
