Rocky the Chi

Hi I am Rocky and I am a great companion!  I know you think I am a puppy but I am full grown and only 18 pounds.   If you are an active human I would want to be right along with you… running, riding in the car, visiting friends, playing soccer, learning Agility courses and playing fetch (my favorite!).  But when I can’t be with you because you have to work to earn money for my treats, I am very comfortable in my crate waiting for you and protecting our home.  I will be active when you want me to and a cuddle bug when you are at rest.  I  also get along with my foster cat (I taught her it is okay to play with me!) and children, but I would probably do best as the only dog because I will want all your attention….only because I came from a home where the human kept too many of us and it was a little overwhelming at times but if you give me time I will make friends with your pal.  I have learned these human words …“Leave it” (for when the squirrels are teasing me or if I bark in response to other dogs barking), “Sit and Hold” (so you can get my harness & leash on & your walking shoes on) and “Lay Down” (when it is time to be quiet). I would also like to be a Family Pet and don’t mind goldfish!  My foster mom says she will take me anywhere to meet you so you can see how adorable I am! Hope to meet you soon!
