Once upon a time, there were two lost puppies found underneath a porch in the rural parts of West Virginia. They were scared and in bad shape, infested with fleas which bit at their skin.  What have they been eating to survive? Where was their mom? Were there any other siblings?  They were only 4 weeks old.

On Sunday, October 20th they were taken in by a nice foster family at AFH. The family took the puppies home and bathed them.  All their fleas were gone.  Ahhh…much better!  They were hungry and ate a lot, but then their tummies got upset. On Monday the nice vet gave them medicine for their upset stomach, gentle shampoo to take care of their skin, and medicine to make sure that there were no more fleas on them

Their nice foster family decided to name them Wendy and Tink as these girls were lost in “Neverland” but we are sure they will be found by their new owners when they get a little bit older!

Wendy and Tink are doing well and feeling so much better!
