Chihuahua / Italian Greyhound Mix

I am a funny looking puppy. My parents were a female blond Chihuahua and a male Italian Greyhound. I guess my dad is where I got my completely black coat, while I resemble my mother in size. I am looking for my forever home. Almost had it, but I was too active for my disabled mom, so I returned to AFH for a chance to be the wild and crazy guy I am! I weigh about 10 pounds, am up-to-date on all my shots, and neutered by my first family. Finally, for everyone to get a good night's sleep, I learned how to sleep in a crate and be very cozy. I sleep there through the night, and I am ready for action in the morning. I am very playful, but I think a little too much of a player for their older dog, who is 13. He will play with me when I nip at his toes and tail. I also have a step-brother and three step-sisters, aka cats. I have learned that they do not like to play the same way I do. The two older cats will swat at me with their paws, so I amuse myself by just barking and occasionally howling at them. Usually the people intervene. The two younger cats let me get closer, and sometimes I try to hug (nip) one of my step-sisters. She usually wiggles away, and heads for downstairs, where they can retreat to quiet, because there is a baby gate that keeps me from following them. So, I guess you could say I would be OK with cats, who already tolerate another dog. I still love to chew, which keeps me busy, and out of trouble. I? not a 100% housebroken, but I am getting there. However, as a precaution, all your shoes should be kept out of my reach. I guess I just love the smell. It's not that I don? have squeaky toys, but without a playmate to throw them, I lose interest. They have found a cool toy that does keep my focus -- they call it a KONG, and they have found just the right size treats to fit inside. I've learned these can be very tasty when I DO get them out! So, please come to see me, as you can tell from my photo, I am a true "cutie", from my overbite teeth, to my slightly bow back legs. Hey, no one? perfect!
