Biagio (Gio) is just so darn cute. He is a really good dog. He is a little shy at first. He runs right up to you and then runs away when you reach down to pet him or pick him up. He really does want attention though. He is still shy with new people, but, if you speak softly to him and wait for him to sit down then he is ready for you to approach him. I've only heard him bark once. He is usually just a very quiet guy and eager to please. We have made great strides in housetraining. Still working on that. He is a smart dog. We are working on leash training and sometimes he is okay with it and other times he isn't. When he is outside he will run around the perimeter of the yard. When he is inside he wanders around for a few minutes and then settles down about 3 feet away from wherever I am. He really does want to be near a human. He is being fostered with another dog and they get along great. He is happy being held and happy not being held. Just a happy dog in general. He is great with kids. We weighed him yesterday and he is 5.6 pounds. A great dog if you are looking for a small one. He doesn't shed, or at least, not that I've seen. He has one ear that is a little mishapen, but, other than that he is in great shape.
