Zelda is a nice little dog who is ready for the next phase of her life! Zelda came into AFH pregnant. She's since had and weaned her pups. She had a bit of a tough transition a couple of weeks ago as she was missing her puppies and a bit confused about all the changes around her. She seemed much better last week and is starting to show her true personality again. She's definitely a dog that likes her humans. She is friendly enough with the other small dog in the house but much prefers to hang with people. The first couple of days her housebreaking seemed to revert a bit but this week she's been pretty clear when she needs to go out - particularly at night. Zelda is easy on a leash and very easy in the house. She likes to have a couple of chew toys around and other than that she is fairly mellow. Having said that, she's still a terrier so she does fixate on cats, squirrels, the occasional visiting fox etc. For that reason, she should never be off leash. But she's a lovebug and well worth getting to know. She loves going for car rides and walks in the park. All in all, she's nine pounds of fun, cute, easy going dog.
