Petey is a great dog. He house broken and crate trained. He is very happy go lucky and LOVES to play. He is friendly with other dogs and very gentle with smaller dogs. He loves this tiny dog that lives in our building and plays very gently with him. Petie lives with two cats. He is very curious but the most he will do is sort of "head butt" them when excited. He has NEVER snapped at people or other animals. Petie is very very smart. He learns tricks and commands easily. However, he needs consistent reinforcement and the owner has to establish himself as the boss. Once this is established, Petie is very submissive. He loves to lick faces and sit in people's laps. He is not a "barker" in general. He loves kong toys and chewing on anything plastic. He would prefer a plastic container to a bone any day. He does not ingest the plastic but loves to chew it. Petie is really healthy and up to date on his shots. He is not a picky eater and loves treats. He just really needs an owner who will take the time to give him exercise, attention and love. He would do great in a back yard where he could run around with other dogs. He is a truly great dog.
