How could you not just love that face? Evan is a sweet puppy looking for a forever home. His breed is unknown, but her my very well be a Belgian Malinois Shepherd. Evan is wonderful about sleeping in his crate at night. So far, he's slept through the night (about 9 hours) and has been very quiet when being put in his crate after a few whimpers. That being said, there's no doubt that his favorite place to be is wherever his people are. He will happily lay in his bed next to you while you work or follow you around in the yard. He's quite polite with his foster's older dog, but takes corrections from her well when his puppy antics get the best of him. He loves to eat which has proven useful in teaching him some basic commands. He learned how to "sit" in less than a minute, has learned how to "lie down", and will be learning to "come" and "kennel up" shortly. He is very good about pottying outside and doesn't potty in his crate if he is given regular bathroom breaks. He is happy to lie on his back to have his tummy rubbed and let you handle his paws and ears. He's not very nippy for a puppy, but may need to be redirected every now and again, just as any puppy would. He loves to chase balls and play with rope toys, but hasn't quite figured out the whole concept of "fetch" just yet, preferring to lay down and chew his new toy or just run around in circles with it in his mouth! I haven't found him to be much of a chewer when it comes to furniture and other stationary objects, however he loves to pick things up and carry them around proudly. He has claimed one of the plastic flower pots at his foster mom's house as one of his prized possessions! He really is a good puppy. His foster mom would be happy to answer any questions by email.
