Golden Retriever / Labrador Retriever Mix

Hi, my name is Toffee and I'm a female golden retriever mix. I like people, kids, and dogs. I never met a cat but I'd probably like them too. I need structure in my day. I'm not one to be a couch potato. If you don't give me something to do that's okay. I'll just climb out of my x-pen and find something myself. I am very intelligent so I can find some really cool things to get into. I really hate to be left alone. I need to be around people and/or other dogs. My foster sister, a bloodhound mix, taught me that when I'm lonely just howl like a hound. It's a funny sound but if that's what it takes to get people's attention so be it. I like toys. The ones that squeak or talk are great but the ones that move---oh I'm just in heaven. My favorite toy is my sister. She likes to chew and play with toys by herself. So while she's distracted I attack from behind. It's really fun wrestling and playing with her. I also like to play outside. I pounce, roll, tug, chew, dig, run, jump and play chase. I'm just all over the place. I'm very curious and have to check everything out---you know, roll in it, chew it, and sniff it, whatever it takes. I'm a very active pup and I need a job. I'm looking for someone to look up to, a leader, someone that will train me, take my jogging, hiking, mountain climbing, toss a ball, throw a frisbee, or maybe even agility training. I can do so much. But most of all I need someone to love and care for me as much as I will them. Oh, and by the way, I'm looking for someone for my sister, Pepper, too. She likes all the same things that I do except she's a calmer version of me. She's more of the rub my belly kind. She also does this funny thing when eating. She'll stretch out on the floor and wrap her paws around the bowl while eating. And of course, that is the perfect time for me to jump on her head. Gosh, life is so much fun!
