Keesa (Collins)

How are you? We are good. We are the family that adopted Collins last weekend. I think we told you that we renamed her Keesa. It means "kiss", which we thought was appropriate since she licked us when we first met her. I wanted to give you an update and let you know that Keesa seems very happy at her new home. She started wagging her tail after being home for only 15 minutes. She loves to cuddle and be held. She follows me around every where I walk in the house. Keesa doesn't pay any attention to our cat and the cat keeps to herself, too. Hopefully, they will become cuddle buddies someday.

We are still working on house training. She doesn't really like to be outside, especially since it has been cold and wet. We have lots of puppy pads and she goes on them about half the time, so far. That last few days, she hasn't had any accidents when she's been crated while we were out. Keesa is eating well and sleeps through the night.

Here is a picture of Keesa and Kye. It is just a coincidence that Keesa's sweater matches Kye's hair ribbon. Keesa loves her sweater, too! I can't wait to get her some new clothes to keep her warm. The girls have been very gentle with the puppy and she fits well into our family.
