My name is Cherry and I am super sweet like the fruit! I am a 9 month old black lab mix. I love my human friends and will make a great family dog for a lucky family. I have been living with my foster family for over two weeks now. They have two little girls who like to play with me in the backyard. I love to run around, fetch tennis balls and just be around humans (adults or kids!) I love people so much that I don't like to be outside alone and I will wait for you at the back door. I am pretty good at walking on a leash and my foster mom takes me for long walks every morning. I am house broken and crate trained. I don't like to be in my crate very much (I like to be with people more) but I rest in there when my foster family isn't home. I am learning to follow commands like sit and stay and I can shake hands too. I love to chew on my chew toys and have been known to chew a stray flip flop but I never chew on the furniture or other things I am not suppose to. I don't know what the big deal is about people food either. I happily lay under the table while my foster family is having dinner. I just like to be near them and I have never tried to jump up and take food from the table or counter (that would be just plain rude!). I love to please my humans and think maybe a puppy training class would be good for both of us! I am a sweet, beautiful girl who is looking for a loving forever home. I can't wait to meet you!
