Jackson, born October 3, 2009 is a 1/2 Yorkie, 1/4 Poodle, 1/8 peke, 1/8 pom mix. He is a little bundle of wonderfulness who spent the first seven months of his life with a loving young lady. As his energetic personality emerged, it became apparent that he deserved a life outside the confines of a high-rise apartment. Jackson displays the tenacity of a terrier and the athleticism of a poodle as he begs for more time to play fetch or chases the foster dogs around the fenced backyard. He knows how to sit, stay, come and "give me five". When he wants to chill out, he relaxes in front of the TV to watch Animal Planet with his human companions! Jackson is about the size of a miniature poodle and has a distinctive look that makes for a fun conversation starter. He has the color markings of a Yorkie with an abundance of curly hair on his head and body but straight hair on his beautiful tail! Jackson loves to ride in the car, gets along with dogs and kids, and is crate trained. Now that he has a yard, he is learning to go potty outside instead of relying on puppy pads indoors. We have all of his documentation for vet checks and immunizations, he has a microchip and is neutered. His cheerful personality (and pearly-white underbite) will put a smile on your face. Jackson would thrive in a stimulating foreverhome where people have the time to invent new games to play, will join him on exciting adventures, and, most importantly, have a fenced yard where he can run, bound, jump, and roll to his heart's content!
