German Shepherd Dog / Rottweiler Mix

Hello, my name is Bernard. I am German Shepherd/Rottweiler Mix who is four years old. I was originally adopted as a little puppy, but they returned me and I need a new home. I weigh 96 pounds, but I need to lose a few pounds. I aspire to be a gentle giant, but I am told that with my exuberance and enthusiasm I have more of a bull in a china shop description instead. With a little training, I am sure I can earn the Gentle Giant label. (There are a lot of people in the rescue who love me and know my potential.) I LOVE to play fetch and go on long walks and I am told I am a good listener. I think it would be best if I were the only animal in the home since I want all of the attention, plus I do not like cats. I LOVE meeting new people, so if you like to have company, I am all for that. I should also be in a home where kids are at least 12 years old and with people who have dog experience. You see given that am part German Shepherd, I am extremely smart and the Rottie in me makes me a little mischievous, so I will outsmart you if you let me.
