Dear Santa, Hello, my name is Georgette and I am writing to you because I desperately need your help. You see I am a beautiful and well behaved basset hound without a home of my own. Some wonderful people have been taking care of me for a very long time, since April 2009. I came here with my brother who was adopted a while ago and I am still waiting for my forever home. I am beginning to give up hope and am starting to wonder why no one wants me. Santa I know how busy you must be this time of year, really. I was thinking you must know a lot of people and perhaps one of those people would make my dream come true. You see I am very loveable and get along with EVERYONE. I love humans, other dogs, children and even cats. I am fully house trained and know how to use the doggy door. I have so much going for myself you can see why I am confused that no one has wanted to adopt me. I am a total package. I was singing a Christmas song last night. I think it's called..... I'll Be Home For Christmas. I thought it was a great song until I heard that last line. It was "I'll be home for Christmas.....if only in my dreams". Santa, I have been dreaming for a long long time. Can you help me make my dreams come true? I would be ever so grateful. Thanks for listening.
