She was brought into the loving arms of A Forever Home, where her urgent medical needs were met and she was tenderly cared for during those critical weeks by a dedicated volunteer. She now finds herself with a new foster family where she will continue to put weight on her frame and learn how to be a family dog. Maxi is beauty in motion. Her natural instincts as a sporting dog are displayed every day as she seeks out birds in trees and brush, then majestically and silently points the way. She is very gentle in nature and loves to be near people when indoors. The task of her foster family is to teach her the basics of house manners and walking on a lead, traits that she was never expected to learn as an outdoor dog in her mountain home.
