Loken

Female (Altered) — Date of Birth: 03/28/2002 (22 years old (Senior))
Norwegian Elkhound Mix
Loken is looking for a new home because his family moved to a smaller place and they would like him to have more room to run. They have had a big fenced-in yard to play in, so we recommend that anyone interested in adopting them would have some kind of similar set-up. Locken is a spayed, pure-bred Norwegian Elkhound that they rescued from the Humane Society. She is gray and white and looks similar to a husky. She is happily overweight and tends to be lazy, but does like to walk (and needs to). She is strong-willed, but a very loyal dog. She will tolerate other dogs, but probably would be happy to be the only one getting all the attention. Due to her size and sheer bulk and strength, we wouldn't recommend her being around small children. We don't have her crated, but we believe she was crate-trained as a puppy, since she loves getting in Jack and Marlowe's crate and taking over.
