Hi! My name is Junior and I am a 4 month old Lab/Chow mix and came to AFH with my siblings. I am an energetic boy that loves to play. I am a bit shy when I'm around strangers, but open right up when I'm with my family. My foster mom is making sure to socialize me so that I can learn that I can be myself around strangers as well. I am good with dogs, but again tend to play Mr. Shy-man around them until I get to know them better. I appear to be pretty good with cats, however when I get over zealous I do forget my manners sometimes. The cats are quick to show their claws and my foster is quick to redirect me. What can I say, I'm still a puppy. I am crate trained and such a good boy in the crate. Once I became used to my foster mom's schedule I now run into the crate all by myself. It also helps when she throws a treat in there. I sleep all through the night and once I hear my foster moms alarm I am up and ready to go. I like to play at potty time so my house training is slow in coming. When I first came to my foster mom I had no idea what a leash was, but my foster mom has been working with me and encouraging me a lot. It's alot easier now. I am very much a puppy and would make a great family dog with an energetic family who can take me on long walks, and be willing to play with me.
