Hello, everyone. My name is Sweet Pea, and. I am a dachshund mix. My Foster Mom (FM) has had me since December 13th at 4:05 PM and has observed the following things: I LOVE to give and receive love. I love to be especially close to someone, perhaps in their shirt or sweatshirt. If there were a medical procedure to attach me to the front of my human, I would get it. FM tells me I am listening to her heart beat with love for me. I LOVE people, dogs and kids (there are two BIG dogs here, and they like me, and I them. I met three of my FM's grandkids, and I liked them too. There is a picture of me up inside the sweater of one of them! There are four fur balls called cats here, and I am quite curious about them. They are silent stalkers. They stare at me a lot, and I'm not sure what to do - but I don't bark at them.) I eat and drink well. (FM tells me I have to watch burping out loud, though, as it isn't ladylike. I will work on that.) I do my business outside (FM has likened me to a camel with regards to holding liquid). I sleep in the bed with FM, and she told me I am a good snuggler. I don't like to be walked just yet; I guess I'm not use to having a collar around my neck. I would love to belong to someone who can spend a lot of time giving me love and snuggles. If you need to be followed around, hounded for lovins, are willing to accept oodles of kisses, and have an extra large sweatshirt you need filled, you might be the human for me.
