Kasey is a wonderful dog, doing remarkably well considering his horrendous past in the puppy mill. He is really starting to enjoy exploring his new world. He has a very calm and friendly demeanor, a real gem. Typical for mills dogs, he is great with other dogs (he lives with beagles right now), and is doing surprisingly well with people. He is starting to crave affection from us, and this is very exciting to see, as for many mill dogs, this is often a huge step to overcome. He does well with our 6 year old son and just adores our 5 month old daughter. We are also pleased with how well he has done with house-training. We do have cats and after a few days of co-existing without incident, has now suddenly decided they are the "enemy", so at this time, I would not recommend a home with cats. We are enjoying watching more and more light and life come into in his eyes as each day passes. Would you consider welcoming Kasey into your forever home?
