This is Omar... He is an adorable brown and black poodle/beagle mix. What a combination; however, he does look a little like a terrier mix. Omar is approximately 3 years old and 25lbs. He was given up because his family brok up. We haven't gotten to know him yet; however, we think he may be quite a silly character...like a puppy. Omar does jump a little bit, especially when he wants to go for a walk. He also barks when he hears a strange noise, or when he sees our cats. Omar quickly blended in with our other dogs (20lbs and 70lbs), and is very sweet and playful with our 3 year old. He seems to know some basic commands, such as come, sit and lie down. Omar does OK on a leash; I believe with the correct training he would do really well. He is a quick and eager learner. He does not like his crate, but is not destructive. Omar is housebroken and has not had an accident in the house since his arrival. He would make a great addition to an active family.
