Hi - my name is Oscar and I'm "full of life"!! I am a red ?smooth - purebred DACHSHUND, so I do not shed much at all. I have big brown eyes that will make you melt! I was rescued from the backyard where I was forced to live. I was not taken care of or fed well. I was then adopted, but my dad is now having leave the country for a year and I am not allowed to go. I have a "comical" personality ?I can be quiet sometimes but will bark to let you know someone is at the door. I enjoy playing with toys and having fun with everyone in the family. I love sitting on laps as I chew my toys. I am very fond of relaxing in the house--snoozing, sleeping, being petted. I like to sleep on my back! I "adore" taking walks and playing in the yard! I'm a real clown! I got along very well with the other 3 dachshunds in my foster home! I like being around people--adults and older teenagers, so far I love them all! I would be an incredible companion for you and your family--and I am ready to be your most devoted friend! I'm so eager to meet you and find a wonderful A Forever Home.
