Dazzler's Pups

English Setter / Labrador Retriever Mix

Born on or about 3/1/09, they are now ready for adoption. Mom is a setter mix, but these pups are very, very lab-looking as you can see! They are all quite used to being handled and will lay in your lap to have their tummies stroked. They love being picked up and cuddled. Starship, Starbright, Starman, Moonglow, Moonwalk, Moonshine and Starlight are adopted. The only pup left to be adopted is Twinkle Twinkle. STARLIGHT -- (female). The fairest of them all, and the smallest of the four yellow puppies. If their gorgeous coloration is milk and honey, she's more milk than honey... she is also on the shy and timid side, although can hold her own when scrappy bigger siblings try to take advantage!! She, alone, has a mark from her mom -- a special dark spot on top of her forehead that is similar to the dark diamond on Dazzler's head. STARBRIGHT (female) -- A shade darker than Starlight, and a tad bigger. Loves to cuddle, (as do they all)...Has a little white blaze on her face that doesn't quite make it to her nose, but instead kind of runs drunkenly off the side of her face. STARSHIP (female -- adopted) -- a shade darker than Starbright, but they are almost twins. (It was four weeks before I could really tell them apart!) STARMAN (male) -- the darkest of the yellow four pups, and the biggest -- he's a lovely dark honey color with white facial marking -- and he's a chunk!! He's all boy, but still loves to be picked up and get his tummy petted. MOONSHINE - (male) -- biggest and blackest of the four black puppies. All four have white markings on their chest, but that's all there is in the way of "trim" for Moonshine. He is going to be a good-sized fellow...very strong boned and solid. MOONWALK - (male) -- not quite as big as Moonshine...but close! Another way to tell them apart is that Moonwalk has little white tips on his back toes... MOONGLOW - (female) -- she's the princess -- smaller than her black brothers but pretty vocal...wants to be picked up and held and petted and she just gets more than her share of attention by being the most demanding...once she's in your arms, though, she's good for non-stop tummy stroking! TWINKLE, TWINKLE -TOES - (female) -- The tiniest of the whole litter, "Twink" got her name because when she was newborn some toes on three feet were pink! (The toes have turned white now.) She also has a little white chin. Just because she's the runt, don't think she gets pushed around. She's in the middle of every wrestling match...and has even positioned herself in the middle of the big food bowl, as if to say "Mine, mine, all mine."
