Dewey was originally rescued from a puppy mill in WV. He is a very sweet, affectionate dog and is housetrained. He is a champ with the doggie door, despite his small stature. Also, though he "runs" away (he thinks he's fast on those stubby little legs) from new people, he certainly does like to be loved once caught. He's already caught a piece of his foster's heart, getting a hug everytime she enters the room! Of note, Dewey loves being around other dogs due is his history at a puppy mill. With the foster, he loves to be held, sit on the couch or bed and be near her dogs. He is calm and happy. Thus, it is best if he is placed in a home with another dog(s).
