Shepherd / Boxer Mix

Rover is a great dog. He is crate trained, housebroken, and only 50 pounds. He is good with kids and other dogs. He takes treats very gently. He loves to give kisses and even though they are pretty wet and sloppy, they are very gentle. He is also a wiggle butt. When he is very happy, which is often, his tail wags so much that his whole body wiggles. Rover is very smart and knows sit, down and shake. He loves to play with toys, especially the squeaky ones. He is pretty quiet inside and out and rarely barks. He walks pretty well on a leash - some pulling when he sees another dog or person. Although he is listed as a shepherd mix, he looks like he might be a boxer or lab mix. Rover needs a new home because of an illness in the family and they are not able to care for him any longer.
