There is a dog for everyone and hopefully this little guy will not be overlooked due to his age. Many people find that there is a special joy and satisfaction that comes from providing a home for an older dog. Often they are the dogs that no one wants anymore but they still have so much love to give! And smaller dogs are known to live 10-15 years. Emmett appears to be a pure bred Jack Russell Terrier. He is definitely a senior – best guess would be over 8 years old. He is short legged, mostly white with black markings on head and tail. He is very sweet and mild mannered. It appears that he's been a family dog as he's totally housebroken and shows signs of training. He has none of the hyper energy or occasional snippiness that some terriers have. It is clear that he's had a tough few months as he is quite thin but despite this he is a happy, friendly boy who is very thrilled to be back in a home situation. And young or old, all any dog wants is someone to love, a safe and permanent home, a lap to cuddle on at times and a soft bed to call their own. Please at least meet this fellow in person before making a decision. Give him a chance and he'll win your heart for sure.
